University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations:
There are three annual sessions in March, June and December. Enrolment is usually made two or three months before the exam date.

Cambridge Young Learners English Tests (YLE):
Designed to assess English levels for children between the ages of 7 and 12. The exams are divided into three levels: Starters, Movers (A1) and Flyers (A2). Children will receive a diploma with three lines of shields, (one for each part of the exam) and they are awarded from a minimum of one to a maximum of five shields depending on their performance. The object of the diploma is to motivate and give pupils the confidence and enthusiasm to move on to further qualifications.

International Cambridge Certificate for Young People and Adults:

1. KET (A2). The Key English Test shows that a learner can deal with everyday written and spoken English at a basic level. The exam has three papers: Reading and Writing (1hr 10 min), Listening (30 min) and Speaking (10 min).

2. PET (B2). The Preliminary English Test shows that a student can deal with everyday written and spoken English at an intermediate level. The exam has three papers: Reading and Writing (1hr 30 min), Listening (30 min) and Speaking (12 min). Candidates who pass the exam will be given a certificate with two grades based on the candidate's total score in all three papers: Pass with Merit or Pass.

3. FCE (B2). The Cambridge First Certificate in English shows the ability to perform everyday acts of communication, both written and oral at a higher intermediate level. It is the appropriate test for those who want to work or study abroad or develop a career which requires language skills. FCE has five papers: Reading (1hr), Writing (1hr 20 min), Use of English (45 min), Listening (40 min) and Speaking (14 min). Successful candidates will be issued a certificate with one of the following grades A (from 80 to 100 marks), B (75 to 79), and C (60 to 74). Fail grades are D (55 to 59) or E (54 or less).

4. CAE (C1). The Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English is designed for advanced users with the ability to communicate with confidence and deal with most aspects of professional and social life. CAE has five papers: Reading (1hr 15min), Writing (1hr 30min), Use of English (1hr), Listening Comprehension (40 min) and Speaking (15 min). Successful candidates will be issued a certificate with the following grades: A (from 80 to 100 marks), B (75 to 79), C (60 to 74). Fail grades are D (55 to 59) or E (54 or less).

5. CPE (C2). The Certificate of Proficiency in English is the highest exam from the University of Cambridge for users of English in professional or academic situations. Candidates who pass will have the fluency and sophistication of an educated native English speaker. CPE has five parts: Reading (1hr 30min), Writing (2 hrs), Use of English (1hr 30min), Listening (40 min) and Speaking (19 min). Successful candidates will be issued a certificate with the following grades: A (80 to 100 marks), B (75 to 79), C (60 to 74). Fail grades are D (55 to 59) and E (54 or less).
